Shaving
Please shave the treatment area 1-2 days before your appointment. Avoid plucking or waxing.
Sun Exposure
Avoid direct sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanning products for at least 4 weeks prior.
Skincare Products
Discontinue use of retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, and exfoliating treatments 1 week before your session.
Medications
Inform us of any new medications, especially those that increase light sensitivity (photosensitizing).
Clean Skin
Arrive with clean skin. Ensure the treatment area is free of lotions, perfumes, and deodorants.
Comfortable Clothing
Wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the treatment area.

Laser hair removal effectiveness and safety depend heavily on your skin type. We use the Fitzpatrick Scale to determine the most effective laser settings for your unique skin tone.
Type I-II
Fair skin, light hair. Always burns, never tans or tans minimally.
Type III-IV
Medium skin, dark hair. Sometimes burns, tans gradually to olive.
Type V-VI
Deep skin, dark hair. Rarely burns, tans easily and deeply.
